Riders 12, 13 and 14 came through the 2007 GP qualifying rounds.
Riders 9, 10, 11 and 15 were awarded wildcard places for the 2008 series.

Super Prix Events

New for 2008: there will be four Super Prix events where the winner of each one will qualify for a Super Prix final to be held after heat 23 of the final GP. The four Super Prix events are highlighted in bold under 'GP calendar' below. Total prize fund for this final will be $200,000 and it will be awarded as follows: 1st place - $120,000, 2nd place - $40,000, 3rd place - $25,000 and 4th place - $15,000
Table below shows which gate in the final was awarded to the winner of each Super Prix event and the eventual result, after the race-off in Bydgoszcz.
